OK, I started (trying) to redesign my site in CSS. But I forgot one thing: CSS stinks. It is just so hard to understand and never seems to work like I think it should. I guess my site will stay ugly until I’m madder about it.
Not much else is going on. I’m still trying to figure out my OpenGL issue. I’ve discovered it works with a software renderer but not with my hardware renderer. I’m going to have to try it on another computer. So in the mean time I’ve put it on hold, which it would probably be anyway because of finals. Maybe I’ll work on my CNC machine more. I’ve been meaning to work on it since Christmas.
With my time off, I am also thinking of working on that CheckBook program that I’ve through of. I’m not sure if I want to do it in Objective-C or Python, but either way I’ll have to learn Cocoa so I’ll borrow a book from my brother on it and look at it tomorrow.
Last, go get a copy of Make magazine. I saw the announcement on /. a while ago and immediately signed up. The first issue was very good. Can’t wait for more. Sorry today is so short. Maybe something big will happen.
