I’ve started using Bazaar-NG for source control, and while it’s quite new, I like it. I’ve submitted a trivial patch or two, but I’d like to do more in the future. I’ve been using it to work on SiteMaker and when I get some time I’ll import my other projects into it.
Other than that, I have been working on remaking SiteMaker being more OO. It’s not going to fast but that is because of the amount of time I have to work on it. Hopefully it will end up a lot better.
On a side note, if anyone out there has a Maxtor Shared Storage drive (like I do), they released firmware 1.2.0 on the 31st of last month. I’ve updated my drive, but I can’t tell what changed. I really wish they would post lists of what they update with each version. I’ve wanted to peek at what is in the firmware file (which is 7.1MB) but I can’t figure out what the format is. All I know is that the first four bytes are “BRCM”. There isn’t much else there past the first few dozen bytes, so I’m guessing that it’s compressed somehow. I don’t have a computer I can attach the thing to so I can look at the drive contents, but I suspect that it runs Linux (see my last post on the subject). But I thought I’d tell you guys out there in internet land. If you figure something out, e-mail me.
I get my copy of Tiger tomorrow! Woohoo!
