Well, the new Mac has been enjoyed at our house, but it hasn’t gotten much use outside of the normal web browsing. I haven’t gotten to get it tested with importing photos and such, or e-mail (which would be a big one). My parents are still on AOL web mail for the moment. Maybe this weekend…
Not much going on other than that. I’ve put a little work into an iTunes plug-in that I’ve been wanting to work on for a long time. But I’m not quite happy with the results (I’ve been modifying someone else’s) and I’m thinking that I’m going to just have to do it OpenGL to get good performance. The QuickDraw routines to copy bitmaps are just slow for the amount that I want them to do. I hate Carbon.
